I’m Angelina Mai, a Vietnamese-English interpreter based in Ontario, Canada.

I have always been passionate about linguistics, communication, and translation, especially the ability of language to help people feel understood, connected, and heard.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, graduating top of my class, and earned certification through ILSAT (Interpreter Language and Skills Assessment Tool), approved by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration.

I also completed interpreter training through Toronto Interpretation Services, along with additional community interpreter training focused on medical, legal, and crisis-response settings.

Over the past four years, I’ve provided interpretation support across hospitals, legal settings, crisis-response services, and community organizations throughout Ontario.
